Why the chat stays on WhatsApp and the record moves to Biome

Nobody needs to change how they chat. Biome only adds the one thing that has been missing: a record of agreements that can't be faked.

WhatsApp is the best communication tool everyone already has, and Biome doesn't try to replace it. What's missing from a WhatsApp conversation is a structured agreement: price, minimum order, timeline. Biome adds an invoice or PO link inside the chat so that agreement becomes a record both parties can rely on.

There's a common mistake when a new platform appears: assuming every habit must change. Yet WhatsApp wins on exactly one thing that matters most — everyone already uses it. Moving business conversations to another app means asking both parties to change habits on the same day. That rarely works.

What's missing from a WhatsApp conversation

Not the communication — the structure. A business agreement has components that must be holdable: price per unit, minimum order, delivery timeline, payment method, and what happens if something goes wrong. In a chat, those five components are scattered across a dozen messages, mixed with greetings and jokes, and scroll away as the conversation continues. When a disagreement comes a month later, all that remains is each party's memory, in different versions.

How Biome adds the structure

  1. Negotiation runs as usual on WhatsApp.
  2. Once there's an agreement, the supplier creates an invoice or PO in Biome.
  3. The invoice or PO link is sent inside the same chat.
  4. Both parties open that link and see the same agreement: price, quantity, timeline.
  5. The order status changes in the same record — shipped, received, complete.
  6. A completed order adds to both parties' track records.

Why that record is hard to fake

Chat screenshots are easy to fake and hard to verify. A record in Biome is different: the invoice and its status live in one system both parties view, and changes are logged. An order counted fully in a track record must be linked to payment or shipment proof — not just one party's claim.

What Biome doesn't do

Biome doesn't read, store, or replace your conversation. There is no button that imports chats. Payment also goes directly to the supplier in the early stages — Biome doesn't hold money. The only thing Biome holds is one thing: a record neither side can fake.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to install another app for this?

No. The invoice link opens in a browser, and the conversation stays on WhatsApp as usual.

What if my counterpart never opens their link?

An unopened link is still recorded as an order that was created. The track record shows both sides — including orders that were never confirmed — so behavior patterns remain visible.
